Birthday Trip to Paso Robles 2011

Here I am at 59 years old.  How did it come to this?  Well, with the help of wonderful parents and family and friends, I feel very blessed to have just had my 59th birthday.  I always wanted to keep a daily journal and never "got around to it" so what better time to start than TODAY!  That's really when everything starts, isn't it....today.  Well today is my first day home from a wonderful three day birthday trip to Paso Robles with family and friends.  We had a blast!  Stayed at Mondo Cellars B&B and visited fourteen wineries in our short stay, some new and some old favorites.  We ate, drank, danced, and actually made some new friends that we'd like to keep in our lives.  I've found that when you open your arms, more people come into your life and your heart.  I think my dad was the one who taught me how good a hug can feel.  So before I move onto laundry and household chores and the "back to reality", I thought I'd savor this wonderful memory and make it my first attempt at my daily journal.  Like many New Year's resolutions, let's see how long this will last.  Ta-ta!
